Thank you for posting that. My coworker said to me that she only votes for the important elections. I walked away before I said something really rude, took a deep breath and went back and calmly educated her on the importance of this one.

Heading to the polls right now. Here's hoping Minnesota remembers it is a blue state and not the purple state it has become recently.

All of Oregon votes by mail, so I voted last week. I'm missing out on the "I voted" stickers people get in other states. Wear yours proudly.

Try we needed a big fucking change like, two years ago. Or maybe a lot less change six years ago.

But yeah, today will have to do.

Damn straight, Liz!

I'm proudly sporting my "I voted! Did you?" sticker today. Granted, I'm working from home so the only influence it could possibly have is over my cats. But still, go voting!

I voted at 9am, baby in arms, after dropping off DD at preschool. I didn't get a sticker though, dammit.

I get this kind of exhilaration when I vote, like behind the blue curtain of the booth, poll workers are slowly filtering in nitrous. I leave with a smile on my face, hoping I've made a difference.

I'm not sure how the rest of the country will go, but I'm counting on saying a hearty farewell to Rick Santorum.

I voted first thing this morning! And will spend the rest of the day waiting for the results of the Governor's race to come in (just say NO to Dick DeVos).

P.S. Congratulations on having Cool Mom Picks mentioned in TIME magazine! That is AWESOME!

I voted! (Conveniently, our polling place is located in the auditorium of my girls' school, which leaves no excuse whatsoever.)

I'm happy this election day signals the end of those annoying automated phone calls, at least for awhile.

As someone who can only be an onlooker into the torturous world of American politics (I am Canadian), I can't vote. Many of us up here are waiting anxiously for the results of this election, though. I will, however, cross my fingers for you (really, really hard) so that you get what you want.
