Oh my Lord. I just laughed completely out loud in my office at the picture of the woman attached to breast pumps plus your imaginary dialogue. Thank you for that! :) And as for the rest of those photos, um...wow, I honestly don't know what to say! They disturbed me, though.
I have nothing cute or funny to say - except -
I would love to have been a fly on the wall at the shoot with the pumping mom on the phone.
She'll probably NEVER ever want to breastfeed her children after wearing that contraption.
LOL! You are one creative lady. I will never look at nursing bra photos the same way again. ;-)
You knock me out. I'd love to know what your mother did to make you such a funny woman!
Dorf: Mainly she locked me in the attic of my rich grandmother's mansion for several years, where I created a sad little 2-dimensional garden out of construction paper and participated in perverse role-playing games with my twin brother and two little siblings.
Thanks for the chuckle this morning!
Mom-101 - really? That happened to you? Cuz I read this book, it was called ... Flowers for Algernon? I think or ... an Attic for Algernon or some such and it was just like that!!
I lurve these photos. You crack me up. Not love them. I lurve them.
Writing captions is such a gift.
You see, now is it just me or are those women being purposefully posed in sexy peephol-bra-style positions?
Actually, that's reminded me. I did always used to find it rather sexy the way my nursing bra undid to reveal a nipple.
In fact, breastfeeding is kinda sexy. Sorry, but it is. I got really freaked out by the sexulality of it all, now that I think about it.
(you'll find out, it's amazing how much of this stuff you forget. Really quickly. In a year's time you'll barely remember any of it)
Flowers For Algernon is such a lovely tale, makes me cry every time. But what does it have to do with being locked in an attic with 2-dimensional stuff?
[confused]
Your funniest post yet. Always good, today a gem.
I love it!
You are inspired.
Ok what you told Dorf on how you got to be so funny. That was great. I think you should write a book about your childhood. Call it maybe.... Hmmmmm. FLowers in the something or other....
Clare - flowers for algernon has NOTHING to do with being locked in an attic. Flowers in the Attic, however, does (I think that's what Mom101 was referring to in her comment) and I was just being stupid.
Wow, a funny, funny post and super-literary comments to boot. Always a two-for-one treat here at Mom-101. I won't skip a day again!
Yes Stephanie, you are right! I pride myself on having the wittiest, most articulate, most educated readers of any momblog on the web. (Except for the readers of my readers' blogs, of course.)
LOL! i haven't been online in ages and i am dashing here and there and having a ball! thanks for the laugh! my favorite was the clueless gal. so silly!
OMG laughed right out loud --- thank you for lifting my mood!!!!
hahahahahaha!
chelle
yet another gem!!! god i wish i was funny!
J's Mom: If you wrote "are you a flirt" quizzes for Seventeen, you were funny, even if you didn't know it. I eagerly await that post!
Those are hilarious!
I don't mean to sound like a boob, but I must say thanks for keeping me abreast of the situation with your titilating post.
Those are hilarious! Who knew nursing bras could feel so pornesque?
Anyway, if you actually want a half decent nursing bra, I recommend the Bravado bra. They are super comfy and you don't have to handwash them (who the f*&^ has time to handwash with a new baby?).
