WOO HOO! I soooo cannot wait for that day:)
hehehe!
oh, i ((heart)) your ticker usage. if i could draw hearts over my "i's" right now in sheer reverence, i would. oh, and i ((heart)) butterflies.. and most of all i ((heart)) 200 and frickin' 8...
Hahaha!!
Though, instead of hearts and butterflies, shouldn't the ticker be made of bombs and a crucifix?
Karen, that's the greatest thing I've heard all weekend. Let's make this place a little better for our kids, shall we?
That's hilarious. But is it really 2 whole years?? It seems like his reign of terror should be ending much sooner!
Brilliant!
and then there will dancing in the streets
or at least there should be
but dare I say it --- what if the next one is worse?????
AAAAAAAAAA
then I'll def be moving to Canada
Okay. I'm an idiot.
It took me 3 rereads of said post and comments until I got it.
Granted the type under the ticker is not intelligble on my fancy compaq - but I finally clicked on it and all was made clear.
You can take the woman out of babycenter but you can't take the babycenter out of the woman. :)
Safe travels, friend.
Heehee. I like that alot.
Thats great. Even us Canucks are looking forward to that day!
S
This cracked me up! That is, until I saw that we had two more years with that jackas... um, guy who is in charge of the country.
We WILL get through this - together!
I'm trying to look at it relative to the entire 8 years, Mrs. Chickly. If only to keep myself from sobbing uncontrollably.
come january 2009, we will all simultaneously break out our Barry Manilow records and sing "Looks Like We Made It" at an outrageously high volume. then we will have to roll up our sleeves and get to some serious reconstructive work. but the fact that there is an end in sight is uplifting. and while i deplore the two term rule in clinton's case, i adore that it exists for this ma-, i mean moron.
The moving to Canada? We are..seriously. Then they voted a massive conservative dude in there - It was terrible - Like we are cursed. CURSED.
When you grow up in Vermont ( and I cared for Howard Deans' children at a child care there), you can't be too liberal.
Oh, how I love being around Bush haters and liberals. Where have you guys been the last 6 years???
Oooh, I need one of those to count down the days until my retirement. But I think you found the best possible use. :-)
Have a safe trip.
Cross and bombs for the tickers. Good one Chase. Then you need to replace the hearts with all of the civil liberties that have gone down the toilet. I love all ya liberal ladies!
Hilarious!!! But still so far away...
This is great. Although, like some of the others here I cringed when I saw that we have TWO MORE YEARS.
That's enough time for him to start at least five more wars. Another ticker is in order!
Have you seen Dick Cheny's rider where he specifies that all TV sets be tuned to Fox News? Creepy old man.
Sweatpants Mom: That's less creepy than it is fascist. I think it's time to get the Politbureau out of the White House.
Excuse my ignorance, but why will Bush be gone in 9 yrs and 7 months? Is it because there is a maximum possible length of time that someone can remain in White House?
